The Role
 

We are looking for a Senior AI Developer to play a central role in our pharmacy AI products: intelligent document processing (prescriptions, transfers, claims), medical scribes, and real-time voice agents. In particular, you will have the opportunity to work on Clarity, winner of the 2026 PLS Award in the AI and

Applications category. In this role, you will:
 

• Senior Development (5+ years): Modern Python (async, typing, FastAPI, pytest) along with strong proficiency in React/TypeScript. You have shipped and maintained production applications, ideally in B2B/SaaS.

• Production AI: LLMs, STT, OCR, RAG, prompt engineering, structured outputs, tool-using agents. You know how to select the right approach for the right task.

• Rigor in Evaluation: You don't deploy prompt changes without measuring their impact (benchmarks, versioned datasets, LLM-as-a-judge), and you monitor inference costs closely.

• AI-Assisted Development: Fully embraced AI tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent), skilled at scoping tasks for AI agents, reviewing their code critically, and building your own tooling (agents, skills, MCP servers).

• Azure Cloud: Azure OpenAI / AI Foundry, Document Intelligence, Container Apps, CI/CD (Azure DevOps), and observability (Application Insights, OpenTelemetry).

• Authentication & Multi-Tenancy: OAuth2/OIDC, SSO, JWT, RBAC (preferably Auth0), and multi-tenant architectures with client-level data isolation.

• Healthcare Data Security: Practical PHI reflexes (zero sensitive data in logs or prompts, strict secret management), along with knowledge of Quebec's Law 25 and PIPEDA. Our environment is ISO 27001 certified.

• Communication: Bilingual in French and English (product, documentation, and customer base in both languages) and the ability to explain technical choices clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Assets

​

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or digital health sectors (prescriptions, clinical notes, drug databases).

• Hands-on experience with real-time voice agents (speech-to-speech) or medical speech-to-text.

• Knowledge of pharmacy management systems or integration with legacy platforms.

• Experience with usage-based billing models (e.g., Azure Marketplace metered billing).

• TGV Certification (MSSS): Prior experience working on a TGV-certified product and familiarity with its requirements (documentation, security controls, traceability) is a major asset.
